Konami statement regarding PES6 online - PESFan

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH in Europe is aware of problems with the online elements of its Pro Evolution Soccer 6 titles. Konami apologise for any problems that some people might experiencing at times, and can reassure fans of the series that we are currently investigating the situation in order to present solutions as quickly as possible.

If not, I'd like to see what was.

PES5's PC lobby was a joke sometimes and you'd have thought the muppets would have tested it this time before releasing. I would have been happy waiting for Konami to sort this out if they had given us IP to IP connection as an option (like in PES 4) but when they want to run all online games through their crappy servers, they ought to at least triple check they work!

I've never played PES online before. it would be class if I could get ethernet for my ps2 but i cant. I'm much too lazy.

Hopefully they can set up "english only" tournies aswel because the lag i get from Spanish lads is terrible!

i am sorry but this is just not good enough, releasing a game when it doesn't work is just shoddy to go with the shoddy game development(less licensed teams, unchanged master league for 3 games etc etc). I for one am becoming totally disillusioned with the PES franchise, it seems Konami are happy to destroy what was once the greatest football game ever. To those posting good luck to Konami wake up they're taking you for a ride. If you bought a car and the seats were missing, you wouldn't wish the car dealer good luck in getting you some seats, you'd go mental.
