OVR rating in PES / WE calculated differently than any other RPG games or FIFA.

lol yeah. For SMF and FB, speed stats and dribbling seems the most important one. No wonder Walcott is rated high as 86 when you put him on the side, while his stats except for Speed are absolutely average.

Rating's on PES are always rubbish TBH...! Many players are SO overrated. I think FIFA has more realistic player ratings.

you can just fix the stats yourself. No big deal. Falcao will probably be rated 75 OVR or whatever again as usual. Ah well at least they gave him a preset this time.

the ratings arent that bad imo (both games will always have overated and underrated players because everyones opinion differs), just dont take any notice of the overall and look at their individual stats instead. the reason some FBs have a high overall rating is due to their stamina i believe (especially for players like nagamoto), a attribute that isnt exactly the most important

Always hated the overall rating, very FIFA. As much as I know the value doesn't say much about how good the player actually is, I still sometimes get lazy and focus on it.
The overall rating thing is annoying, I don't think the stats actually overrate players that much but being a wide player takes average stats and still gives them a high overall rating which is just down to the speed and long pass stats which is annoying. I'd rather get rid of the overall rating to be honest and just have the stats hexagon.
