North vs South 2010 (London)

Unlike any other event (excluding the finals) this event is worth 48K value in terms of ranking points. This means there are 3 times more points to gain and lose than in regular offline events, and 6 times more than the official onliners! Leng_Jay who won the last 48K event prior to finals, was propelled to number 1 spot after a good performance here, underlining the importance of the creme de la creme events!.

Prizes

This event gives the opportunity for two players (winner and runner up) to qualify for the NvS final! An opportunity not to be missed.

At the final we will be awarding £2000 worth of prizes as well as the coveted title of North v South Champion 2010.

The winner of the NvS final will take away a £1000 voucher courtesy of our partners over at Play.com and the title.

The runner up will take away a £500 voucher with 3rd and 4th place taking £100 each. The rest of the qualifiers will each receive £50 in Play.com vouchers.

As well as the vouchers to spend at Play.com, all eight regional qualifiers will win a seat at main event. If you have already qualified, the Main Event seat will go into the overall rankings ladder pot.

The event will take place in London Gamerbase(Piccadilly Circus) on the 28th of March. It is located in the heart of London and situated within HMV at the famous London Trocadero. More details about this stunning venue can be found at www.gamerbase.com

yooo seer ive decided i want to come to london event for this sunday....i see there was 2 spaces free so i might aswel attend this one than trek all the way to reading and not be guaranteed a spot

Yep I got your PM on rankings, please reply to that, but you mentioned that you'd like to watch, you don't need to be in the event to come and watch. Are you definitely coming?

By Jacky and Maz coming London now, it has become definitely the toughest tournament to win. I don't mean to sound like a sob story, but look at my record on rankings, between Xbox and PS3, I'm on hot form on PS3, and just dreadful on Xbox, so It's gonna be hard to win.

Reading IMO will have a smaller turnout due to players not being removed and due to group number caps will be an easier route to final, as well as not having the majority of players who have been strong in offliners this season or last; Maz, Greek, Me, Sykes, Pro_evo legend, Jacky, xtrap, Andy.

This gives a chance for a lesser known player to make the final at Reading, I can't wait to see how this weekend unravels.

Gonna be alot of surprises and twists in different parts of the country!
