Think your good at PES? Fancy winning £1000 from Play.com? want a shot at making the grand finals? Well here is your chance to represent Manchester in this years North vs South event. There will be appearances from PES legends like Oldboiler, Farrmark and the current unbeaten Manchester champ Menace and Rankings Number 3 shotzsn3.

The will be loads of freebies such as Key rings, mouse matts and many more so if you dont come away with your PES reputation in tact then at least you get some goodies for your troubles

Regitstration starts 11:15 with Kick off 11:45. You must be here on time as there will be no exceptions allowed for late arrivals.

Prizes

This event gives the opportunity for two players (winner and runner up) to qualify for the NvS final! An opportunity not to be missed.

At the final we will be awarding £2000 worth of prizes as well as the coveted title of North v South Champion 2010.

The winner of the NvS final will take away a £1000 voucher courtesy of our partners over at Play.com and the title.

The runner up will take away a £500 voucher with 3rd and 4th place taking £100 each. The rest of the qualifiers will each receive £50 in Play.com vouchers.

As well as the vouchers to spend at Play.com, all eight regional qualifiers will win a seat at main event. If you have already qualified, the Main Event seat will go into the overall rankings ladder pot.

Players are required to be in the Manchester Gamerbase by 11.45am or risk being removed from the event without warning.

* NUMBER OF LEGS: 1 LEG FIXTURE
* MAX PLAYERS: 32

* EVENT NOTES:

**Players are permitted to bring their own joypads but are not permitted in any circumstance to use controller adaptors

The event is currently full but you can place yourself on the reserve list and as players are removed then the next in line will take thier place.

Ok thats great, just one question, would it be easier to go by train or car? [coming from nottingham area]...if i decide to go by car is there plenty of car parking spaces nearby?

I think I qualify for "Legend" status simply because I've been around for ever, it has no correlation to my ability at the game

Im not sure what the train times are like from Nottingham to Mamchester on a Sunday but if there a train that can get you in on time then i would probably get the train into piccadilly. HMV is only about 5-10 mins walk away. If you go by car then be prepared for expensive city parking, you can try to park on the streets around Manchester city centre but alot of the spaces only allow you to buy tickets for a short period of time and they are usually taken very early in the morning.

Cant wait to get back and play some PES be great to see everyone again especially Boiler, farrmark and boss for car parking Horse if you park at the arndale mutistorey its £6 for the day on a sunday instead of paying like £10-15 elsewhere and its like literally round the corner

Aye Arndale is where i park, in fact the weird thing was last time you came out of all the spots in the arndale car park your had parked next to mine.
