I agree that there needs to be a change to prevent things like this for future gotm, but i wouldnt like to see genuine users of this site penalised. I for one havent even got to 300 posts, but enjoy the site just as much as someone with a higher post count. You could change it to only accept votes from people who have been here for a certain amount of time (say 2 months) or you could try and make it so that you have to have a certain amount of posts per month to be able to vote.
